I got 5 mosquito bites when we were in Alsace, all on the left side of my face. When I got up my left eye was almost closed. After breakfast we set off walking for town - the journey was fraught with argument as neither of us knew the way! We finally got there and found a pharmacy where the pharnacist was really nice and gave me a cream for the bites. She suggested going to a doctor and gave me a cough mixture. We had a coffee at the same cafe as the day before and the owner was very friendly. Back home we had cheese etc. for lunch, had a bit of a rest and then walked to the local lake where there is a pub. Dinner was salads from the supermarket and then a relaxing evening watching Netflix.
