Touring Donegal May 17th 2013

A beautiful morning! We decided to take advantage of this rare, bright and warm day to take a tour of part of our beautiful county of Donegal and to pretend we were on a home exchange and doing what we always do - looking for beautiful sights. We decided on Horn Head as we hadn't been there for a long time. Our roundabout route took us past Glenveagh, past the Poisoned Glen, the Dunlewey Centre into Falcarragh and then Dunfanaghy. It was absolutely beautiful!

We had a nice cup of coffee at the Dunlewey Centre and considered lunch at "Muck 'n Muffins" in Dunfanaghy but weren't hungry enough. We got home in the afternoon in time for Jim to be able to cut the grass. Just as well - today is more like a winter's day!
