We are currently in Blairgowrie, the holiday home of Marilyn and Alistair with whom we have spent the last 2 hilarious days! we had a tour of Melbourne and a drive on the Formula One race course - Alistair used to do a lot of racing it seems. Last night we headed to a local Malaysian restaurant in Abbotsford where M. and A. live. It was a short walk and as M. has walking problems she drove her disabled buggy with 2 bottles of wine clinking in the basket. Jim forgot the camera so we haven't captured the scene. Following a lovely meal we made our way to a very nice traditional pub and after a drink or two wove our way home again. M. was a scream in the buggy - more like 6 than 69! Our time with Lois and Fred was more sedate but no less enjoyable - lots of culture, art and history. We plan to relax for another day in Blairgowrie and then we are going to do some of the Great Ocean highway - as far as the 12 Apostles of which there are now only 7 - hope we don't reduce their numbers any further!
