Reflections on Vietnam 4 - bits and pieces

Our junk at Halong Bay

Conical or what on the Mekong!

Food fit for a Queen!

The Royal Party!

The King and Queen and a random concubine (Sakina)

Hell's Angels!

On the grid!

See first photo - this thing has a mind of its own! I was doing so well today till I lost the junk and had to put it first!

Our junk on Halong Bay from the outside.
Our cabin.

Views of Halong Bay - cannot be fully appreciated unless you're actually there.

Water Puppets in Hanoi.

The Water Puppeteers - they get wet every night!

We're still in Tuross and the weather has improved slightly. After lengthy attempts at uploading photos we tour the area. We did the Snowy Mountain Highway yesterday - great views. We start our trip to Melbourne on Saturday and will stay about halfway at Lake's Entrance. Marilyn and Alistair will meet us somewhere outside Melbourne to guide us to their place. We will go to their holiday home in Blairgowrie for a few days and then back to Melbourne to meet up with Joanne O'Kane. Then on to Hobart on November 13th. I hope we will have internet access there.
This holiday lark is hard work!
