August 27th 2019 - Eibsee; Garmisch Partenkirchen; Fussen

Today we had planned Eibsee  and Garmisch Partenkirken. We got a bit lost around Munich so that added considerably to the journey. We had a lovely walk around Garmisch Partenkirken . This town consists of 2 towns that were merged for the 1936 Olympic Winter Games. It is both a world-class ski resort and a summer vacation playground with an influx of hikers,  mountain climbers and cyclists etc. The shops there are lovely and the buildings very beautiful. When we got to Eibsee the place was thronged. The car park was for the lake and for the cablecar for Zugspitz. We didn't fancy queueing for the cablecar so took a short walk around the lake - my blood pressure was very low and I was feeling really unwell. We went on from here to Fussen but really got little value from the visit as I couldn't cope very well.
