July 8th 2017 - Bodnant Garden and Bodnant Welsh Food Centre

This morning we got up around 8am and all 3 of us went for a walk with Arnie the dog. Sarah then returned to Lymm and we were left to our own devices. Jim did a 7 point turn - the house is up a very narrow winding road and had limited parking place - and off we went to Bodnant Garden in the foothills of Snowdonia. this is a beautiful garden with wonderful walks though varying landscapes. There is lots to see there.

Bodnant House - privately owned and not a National Trust property.

Owain, Sarah's son, had recommended that we visit the Bodnant Welsh Food Centre which was nearby. So we did to discover that it was a special family day celebrating its 5th anniversary. It was packed so we just had a quick look round. We came back to Sarah's and then to Conwy where we bought some bulots (whelks) and crab for dinner.

Conwy Castle - we did not visit as we have been there a few times before.

And another lovely sunset!
