On tomato watch!!

Yesterday was a stock up and planning day. Planning for Montreal and Quebec took quite some time but we think we should manage to do them both in 2 days. Of course it would be much better to devote more time to each of them but we can't.

While we were planning the trip, Jim was also planning something else - eating a homegrown tomato before we leave Ottawa. He thinks there is one ripening up nicely. I'm not so sure.

Just before dinner, Monica and Shayla, daughters of Dave and Lorna, came to visit. Monica brought a banana cake and Shayla brought a baby (Mia). We kept the banana cake (very nice) but we sent the baby home (even though she was very nice too but not nice enough to eat!).
