Wednesday June 5 2013 Portsalon and Knockalla

Another beautiful day and another opportunity to play tourist in Co. Donegal. We drove to Portsalon and then did the Knockalla coastal drive and finished up for lunch in Belle's Kitchen, a woderful cafe owned and cheffed by Ronnie Blake (a pst pupil of ours). Jim had salt and pepper squid and I had seafood chowder, both excellent. It seems Ronnie and Cormac Walsh (another past pupil) have taken over the restaurant that was An Bonnan Bui and is now The Ferry Gate. We must check it out.
