We got up early this morning as we had to do the clean up to leave the house as we found it. Then we had to go to Halford's in Newton Abbot because Nuvi was being difficult again and we wanted to put manners on her. There we were told that Nuvi thought, when we connected her up, that she was to receive data when, in fact, we wanted her to give us data. A compromise was reached whereby, every time we connected her up she would still think she was to receive data but after a few minutes she would cop on and start to give us data. A bit inconvenient but manageable!
It was very overcast so we could not see much of the scenery. We stopped at Linniton for coffee in The Lace Teashop. Back in the car and we were met by thick fog! As a result we had no idea what the Dorset landscape was like. We arrived in Bridport at about 1.15 and were greeted by Jo and John. They have a jukebox in the hall. And it works!
After being shown around we had a cuppa and they set off for Cornwall in their camper van. We emptied the car and then had a walk around Bridport. Again it was only minutes from the house into the centre so it was very convenient. Jo and John had recommended a few very good restaurants so we decided to eat out. After unpacking we went to Dorshi - an Asian restaurant in Chancery Lane just about a minute away from where we were. It is really good, particularly the dumplings.
